I'm a Singaporean senior product designer with 13 years of experience across crypto, fintech, and banking — currently at OKX, where I work across compliance and P2P trading.

My work at OKX splits across two distinct domains. On the compliance side, I design the interfaces through which operators act on AI-generated risk signals — AML case management, sanctions screening, and the BOSS AI Assistant, an AI-guided review tool that reduced WorldCheck manual review by 90% and increased ops throughput 5×. On the P2P side, I led the end-to-end UX redesign of P2P Express — running user interviews, merchant surveys, Amplitude data analysis, and A/B testing — achieving measurable completion rate uplifts across overseas and CNY markets. Along the way I also challenged and helped overhaul the backend matching algorithm, after analysing 212,500+ orders and finding the existing #1 ranking signal had near-zero predictive value.

Both domains taught me something different. Compliance is about designing for high-stakes operator decisions under regulatory pressure. P2P is about designing for trust and clarity in a consumer trading environment where expectations and reality frequently diverge. I find the tension between the two genuinely interesting.

I work as a senior IC embedded across squads — comfortable in logic-mapping sessions with engineers, upstream problem framing with PMs, and presenting proposals to senior stakeholders. I care about edge cases as much as polished UI.

Before OKX, I spent four+ years at UOB helping build TMRW — a mobile-first digital bank — from scratch. I designed the Wealth section from zero, led a team of four designers on Payments and Onboarding, and scaled a localisation team from 0 to 12 across Southeast Asia.

Earlier I was an art director at digital agencies — D&AD, Cannes, APAC work for Samsung, Adidas, Pantene, Audi. It built a craft discipline that still shapes how I approach every screen.

I'm always learning — currently exploring data analysis, AI tools, and how emerging tech shapes product design. I do my own Amplitude analysis and run mixed-methods research, which means I can engage with product and engineering beyond just UX deliverables.

Outside work

I follow crypto and AI closely — both professionally and out of genuine curiosity. Outside of tech I play tennis.
